SHIRLEY
Physical Therapist
415–788–2100 (ext. 699)

Physical therapy is a natural evolution of my learning over my lifetime, combining art with science. My background involves movement (dance) and medicine. My training in physical therapy began in 1988 at the University of Washington in Seattle, where I began to learn the basic skills of hands on manual therapy and therapeutic exercise. To help someone thru any pain or dysfunction, I believe the therapist must know what optimal movement looks and feels like in every individual component (joint, muscle, fascia) and how the nervous system functions to use these articulations to pattern movements.  Read More
